WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ISO 14001?
To achieve ISO certification, your organization must first implement an environmental management system. Once the system is in place, the certification process can begin—with an initial audit, including document review, followed by a certification audit. Upon successful completion of the audit, your organization will be awarded an ISO certificate. To maintain ISO certification, annual surveillance audits are conducted, with a recertification audit required every three years.

Start-up
Planing the audit
Stage 1 Audit
This audit is mandatory, and the documented management system along with other relevant materials is reviewed.
Stage 2 Audit
The purpose of this audit is to ensure that the management system meets the requirements specified by the standard.
Surveillance audits and recertification
Following the initial audit, ongoing audits are conducted, typically once or twice per year.

Transfer to SBcert
If you are already certified, you can easily transfer to SBcert through a transfer audit. The transfer is usually conducted alongside your regular surveillance audit or recertification. No additional time or costs are incurred beyond the standard audit.
