WHAT IS ISO/IEC 27701?
ISO/IEC 27701 is an extension of ISO/IEC 27001, focusing on privacy. It provides guidance on safeguarding personal data, managing personally identifiable information (PII), and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. To achieve ISO/IEC 27701 certification, you must already have, or simultaneously certify for, ISO/IEC 27001. It is not possible to hold ISO/IEC 27701 certification independently of ISO/IEC 27001.

Start-up
Planing the audit
Stage 1 Audit
This audit is mandatory, and the documented management system along with other relevant materials is reviewed.
Stage 2 Audit
The purpose of this audit is to ensure that the management system meets the requirements specified by the standard.
Surveillance audits and recertification
Following the initial audit, ongoing audits are conducted, typically once or twice per year.

Certification Process
The path to your certification follows a series of predefined steps. When planning the audit, we remain attentive to your needs and preferences to ensure the process is smooth and easy to understand.
Transfer to SBcert
If you are already certified, you can easily transfer to SBcert through a transfer audit. The transfer is usually conducted alongside your regular surveillance audit or recertification. No additional time or costs are incurred beyond the standard audit.
